Administration Officer

This role sits at the heart of our operations, supporting a busy security team, coordinating jobs, assisting clients, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

About the Role

Position Title: Administration Officer
Employer: Standby Security Pty Ltd
Location: Geelong Head Office
Employment Type: 2 x Part-Time Positions | 3 x Days per week with ability to move full-time (Monday- Friday)
Salary Range: Based on qualifications and experience (27-$33 per hour), plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients in a professional & friendly manner
  • Booking in jobs & coordinating daily schedules for technicians, guards & patrols
  • Managing incoming calls, emails & general enquiries
  • Preparing quotes, invoices & reports
  • Maintaining accurate records & data entry across systems
  • Supporting day-to-day office operations
  • Assisting management & field staff as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous administration experience preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of administration experience required
  • Strong communication & customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational & time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask & work efficiently under pressure
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, email systems, etc.)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
  • Experience with Xero (advantageous but not essential)
  • Ability to work both independently & as part of a team
  • Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
